Every night I look forward to when the girls wind down and go to bed. The only time I have my "own" time is during the 1 hour nap in the afternoon and after they are asleep. I have kids pulling me every which direction during the morning, afternoon and evening. Do not get me wrong I wouldn't have it any other way but I like to do my own thing to.
Now it brings me to this evening. I did the normal bedtime routine got snacks, drinks, brushed teeth, go potty, read books, tell them goodnight, I love you sweet dreams for the 3rd time and then gave hugs and kisses. Myah decided she did not want to go to bed, she was playing in her room with her light on after the 4th time I brought her out to lay with me and cuddle. I got none of my night things done, no watching tv, no relaxing, no bath I wanted to take. She finally just went to sleep at 10:45.
I was so happy to cuddle with her for a short 20 minutes that all my things I wanted to do didn't matter anymore. I only have so much time before she will not cuddle like her sisters will not cuddle anymore that I realized I needed to step back and just take that moment and cherish it.
On a better funnier note when I went to laid Myah down again, Rylee says "ya I know her" I said "what". She goes "yup I have met her before, don't you know?" Huh, interesting. She rolled over and went back to sleep. I wonder what in the world that kid was dreaming of. She cracks me up.
*much love

Shoveling? I think so!!
It is nice to be able to pay things forward. We have a big driveway here and when it snows you have to shovel it. (If it is a lot we use the snowblower) Well before the snowblower was here we had a lot of snow and were shoveling so our neighbor came over and blew our driveway out for us. It was so nice of him and greatly appreciated.
Today we had about an inch or so of snow and it was almost 30 degrees out so I wanted to get the snow shoveled off the driveway and take Myah out to play in the snow. We also shoveled the neighbors driveway and brought their garbage can up to their house. They will be happy when they get home and know they do not have to get it done after a Monday at work.
Myah was so happy to play outside for 45 minutes and it was even better to get all that fresh air. Plus she was able to play with a puppy when another neighbor was out. All in all we had a huge successful morning. Check mark for mommy!!

What I have learned today
Today Myah explained to me that if you have a brownie or a cookie your "tummy feel all better". Hmmm I wonder why my stomach ever hurts as I have ate about 100 to many cookies and brownies. However I am going to keep this in mind next time I have a stomach ache. Word to the wise if ever in doubt ask the 3 year old, she knows it all.
